    As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a People Partner to join our journey and contribute to shaping our next chapter. In this role, you will report to the Head of People Partnering & People Operations and work hand in hand with a Senior People Partner to support your assigned business area – ensuring our people leaders and teams are set up for success every day.

    You will be the go-to partner for mid-level managers and their teams, offering operational guidance, coaching, and employee support that drives engagement and positively impacts performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, developmental HR partnering role and wants to grow towards a more strategic position over time.

    Your tasks and responsibilities will includePartnering with people managers to enable great leadership : You’ll partner closely with mid-level and first-time managers, supporting them in developing strong leadership practices. You’ll act as a sparring partner and coach for everyday management challenges such as feedback, performance, and career conversations – helping leaders create environments where their teams can thrive.Supporting organizational effectiveness and change : You’ll work side-by-side with your Senior People Partner to bring people and organizational changes to life. While the Senior Partner steers changes from a People & culture perspective, you’ll provide input and support its execution - ensuring clear communication, smooth transitions, and strong alignment between teams and company goals.Driving core people processes with excellence : You’ll take ownership of the execution of core people cycles such as performance feedback or salary reviews for your assigned area. You’ll help managers understand the “why” behind each process and make sure they are implemented consistently and with care.Championing employee experience : You’ll be the first point of contact for employees in your business area -listening, advising, and supporting with empathy and clarity. Whether through formal conversations or informal coffee chats, you’ll maintain a close connection to the employee experience and share insights to continuously improve an engaging working environment.Navigating employee relations with fairness and care : You’ll manage employee relations cases for your area, ensuring each is handled thoughtfully, fairly, and in alignment with our values and legal standards. For more complex or sensitive cases, you’ll work closely with your Senior People Partner and the People Operations team.Enabling Seamless Global People Operations : You will collaborate with our German people operations team as well as local market P&C managers across countries to ensure smooth, compliant processes for employees within your area, within and outside of Germany. You’ll ensure that we maintain accurate employee data and local practices align with global standards.Collaborating with our Center of Expertise : You’ll work closely with colleagues from Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and People Development to ensure a seamless and consistent people experience across the company. You’ll also collaborate and share knowledge with fellow People Partners across business areas to continuously improve how we work.What we are looking forMultiple years experience as a People Partner in global, scaling environments : You multiple years of experience in HR, including specific experience as a People Partner in a fast-paced, ideally international environment.Solid HR expertise : You have a solid understanding of HR processes, German employment law, and the employee lifecycle. Experience with other countries’ employment standards (e.g., UK, US) is a plus.Coaching mindset and people focus : You’re passionate about supporting people managers to grow and develop.     As Senior Manager Strategic Procurement – Indirect (all genders), you will establish and lead our indirect procurement function, laying the foundation for a best-in-class scalable, efficient, and value-driven indirect procurement department at tonies. This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up - developing strategy, defining processes, policies and guidelines, and driving operational excellence across a wide range of indirect spend categories including marketing services, IT software, office supplies, and more. You will work cross-functionally with teams across the business and geographies to ensure we get the best value for money while supporting our ambitious growth journey. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of strategy and execution.

    Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

    Strategic Development & Leadership

    Define and execute the Indirect Procurement Strategy: Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth plansProcess & Operating Model Design: Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end procurement processes, policies, and guidelines, establishing an efficient operating model, including organizational structure, roles, and responsibilitiesCommodity Management: Develop and implement commodity strategies for key indirect spend areas (e.g., Marketing, IT, Professional Services, HR, Facilities).Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Establish and foster strong relationships with key suppliers, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvementRisk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, contractual issues, and compliance

    Spend Analysis & Reporting: Implement tools and processes for comprehensive spend analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains. Report regularly on procurement performance and KPIs

    Execution and Operational Excellence

    Hands-on Tendering & Negotiation: Lead and execute the full tendering process for significant indirect spend commodities, including drafting RFPs/RFQs, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalizing agreements (e.g., for marketing services, software licenses, consulting engagements)Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of indirect procurement contracts, ensuring terms are met and renewals are managed effectively

    Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders across all departments (e.g., Marketing, IT, HR, Finance) and markets to understand their needs and ensure procurement efforts meet business requirements

    What we are looking for:

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in indirect procurement including a leading position within a Procurement department, with a strong track record of strategic development and hands-on executionExperience building a procurement function from scratch or significantly scaling an existing oneExpertise in developing procurement strategies, processes, and operating modelsStrong practical experience in leading complex tenders and negotiations, particularly in categories like marketing services, IT, or professional servicesExcellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed spend analysis, identify opportunities, and build business cases for changeExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsHigh degree of independence, proactivity, and resilience in a dynamic and evolving environmentFluency in English and German (written and spoken)Willingness to work from our Düsseldorf office 2-3 days a week
