    Sie montieren eigenverantwortlich anhand von Arbeitsunterlagen komplexe optomechanische und optoelektronische Baugruppen in LaborumgebungVerschiedenste Fertigungsverfahren(Kleben, Löten, Bonden), Justage und Kalibrierung gehören wie auch Fehlersuche und deren Korrekturmassnahmen zu ihren Aufgaben

    Die Aufgaben sind befristet, da folgender Sachgrund vorliegt: hohe Nachfragespitzen mit unbekannter Dauer bei optischen Produkten, die in Böblingen hergestellt werden, hauptsächlich bedingt durch den Ausbau von KI-Rechenzentren

    Keysight’s Power Solutions R&D team develops advanced electronic systems used across energy, automotive, communications, aerospace, and industrial applications. Our solutions range from multi-kilowatt switching power supplies and regenerative power systems to solar array simulators and grid emulators reaching megawatt-level performance.

    The Bochum-based team is a highly collaborative group of hardware, firmware, and FPGA engineers working closely with our US counterparts in Budd Lake, NJ. Together, we design high-performance, high-reliability products that combine precision measurement with advanced power electronics. The team offers a technically stimulating environment with strong cross-functional collaboration and significant influence on next-generation product architecture.


    Responsibilities


    Develops HDL designs for power solutions in a collaborative R&D environment consisting of hardware, FPGA and firmware designers.

    Leads the HDL development and design for new products

    Creates concepts, solutions and interfaces for high power products


    Qualifications


    BS/MS Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineering

    8+ years in HDL design working experience 

    Experience with Xilinx and Intel/Altera tool chains, Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog

    Experience coding, simulating, testing, and debugging HDL designs

    Proven work with clock domain crossing (CDC), and multi clock designs

    Experience with high speed serial interfaces (e.g., 8b/10b, LVDS, SERDES style logic)

    Experience with standard embedded interfaces (SPI, I²C etc.)

    Solid understanding of timing closure, constraints (SDC/XDC)

    Ability to debug hardware using oscilloscopes, and on chip tools (ILA/SignalTap)

    Experience with simulation and verification (ModelSim/Questa, testbenches)

    Digital signal processing and feedback control system experience

    Ability to collaborate across multiple design domains including firmware, gateware, analog and digital hardware interfaces

    Strong fundamental skill set in continuous and discrete signals and systems

    Ability to design, layout, testing and troubleshooting PCAs as it relates to digital design

    We are seeking a talented R&D Software Engineer to join the circuit simulation team inside DES. You will become part of the team responsible for developing Keysight's industry-leading circuit simulation software, enabling engineers worldwide to design next-generation RF, microwave, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed electronic systems.

    Responsibilities


    As an R&D Software Engineer, you will:

    · Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using C++, Rust, and Python.

    · Develop new product features, developer tools, software infrastructure, engineering infrastructure, and developer productivity solutions for our circuit simulation products.

    · Design and maintain build systems, dependency management, and CI/CD pipelines across Linux and Windows platforms.

    · Develop automation tools that improve software quality, engineering productivity, and release efficiency.

    · Design and implement desktop user interface components and internal engineering applications.

    · Improve developer workflows through build optimization, IDE integration, automation, and tooling enhancements.

    Required Qualifications

    · Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, and Python.

    The Digital Photonics Center of Excellence (DP-COE), part of Keysight Technologies, is responsible for developing innovative products in the critical portfolio segment of Oscilloscopes, Photonics, AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator), BERT (Bit Error Rate Tester), Digitizer, Logic Analysis, and Protocol Analysis. These products enable engineering teams worldwide to design with higher efficiency and quality across Computer, Semiconductor, Wireless, Automotive, Storage, Communication, and Quantum industries.


    Your software will directly power the test and measurement systems that give engineering teams worldwide the tools to test, calibrate, and validate next-generation wireless, photonics, and quantum technologies.


    As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and evolution of software components for Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) products. Working closely with R&D teams and product stakeholders, you will translate customer and product requirements into well-engineered software designs and high-quality implementations that deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions.


    In this role, you will own critical features and subsystems and influence architectural decisions while upholding high standards for software quality, compliance, performance, and maintainability across the product platform.


    Responsibilities


    • Independently design and implement software features, taking ownership of components from concept through delivery.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer and product requirements into clear technical requirements and practical implementation approaches.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced RF/mmWave IC & SiP Design Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team focused on the development of advanced RF and mmWave semiconductor and packaging solutions.

    In this role, you will drive technical execution, team leadership, and strategic R&D initiatives across multiple technology platforms including InP, GaAs, GaN, and SiGe. You will partner closely with Technical Project Managers, product organizations, and external technology partners to deliver high-impact innovations from concept through production.

    Qualifications


    Erfolgreicher Abschluss Ihres Studiums der Ingenieurwissenschaft oder Naturwissenschaft.Sehr gutes Verständnis von Fertigungsprozessen und Qualitätskontrolle.Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich optischer Bauteile/Baugruppen mit ebenso wie im Bereich HF-technik Erfahrungen mit den Lieferketten von Halbleiterchips/Wafern (Photonic Integrated Circuits) sind erwünscht.Eine überzeugende, motivierte Persönlichkeit mit einer hohen TeamorientierungVerhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie ein routinierter Umgang mit den MS-Office-Anwendungen.Eine gute Auffassungsgabe und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise. Kenntnisse im Bereich Projektmanagement runden Ihr Profil ab.
