    The Team - your impact
    Our team strives to consolidate and transform the security of public applications and the group-wide domain name system. We equip all E.ON teams with the means to publish their applications in a safe and streamlined fashion. In this role you will use your expertise to optimize security mechanisms, integrate business needs and create interfaces between the components of our solution and our users
    Your Role - meaningful & rewarding
    Develop solutions to secure all public applications of the organization
    Implement these solutions by working on a consolidated external DNS and routing infrastructure
    Adapt the solutions to a diverse application landscape across various hosting environments
    Automate the configuration, processes, and interfaces of the various components of these solutions
    Align solutions with overarching architectural principles, security requirements, and dependent product teams
    Support and translate business requirements to further adoption of the solutions
    Consult application teams in implementing security and content delivery mechanisms
    Your Profile - authentic & open-minded
    Experience in network engineering and cyber security, especially relating to public applications
    Knowledge in the technology stack of Cloudflare as our primary solution provider (WAF, DDoS, DNS, CDN etc.)
    Intensive touchpoints with process automation and infrastructure as code to build and automate interfaces between the components of the security stack and users
    Ability to translate business needs into concrete solutions and balancing with architectural requirements
    Background in computer sciences and experience in similar tasks in an enterprise landscape
    Structured, resilient, reliable, assertive and collaborative in a confident manner and strong customer focus, a service-minded and solution-oriented attitude
    Interested in working in the central network department in a large organisation with an international environment, where design, observability and automation is in focus of the role
