    What You'll Do

    We are seeking a strong candidate to support to support our Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) Practice team across a range of activities, including organizing physical and virtual external events, amplifying thought leadership across business channels, managing the practice's social media presence, reporting on marketing performance, and continuously optimizing our marketing efforts. The Working Student will support the firm's global Marketing, Sales, & Pricing Practice Area marketing team and will be primarily focused on supporting the amplification of thought leadership content across business channels including LinkedIn. This will include, but not limited to, writing copy and creating assets via Figma to use on LinkedIn. Further responsibilities will include supporting external events and engagements, building reports and analyzing marketing data, support market trend analysis, coordinating with internal teams, and working with the Global MSP Marketing members on an array of ad hoc projects. This well-rounded role will also support the overall management of the MSP practice with an emphasis on marketing and communications.

    You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role for 12 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

    YOU'RE GOOD AT

    The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for marketing and communications. They will have excellent attention to detail, project and time management skills, and a strong sense of accountability and autonomy. This candidate will have an interest in writing and event management, an active social media presence and closely follow the marketing industry to be abreast of latest best practices and updates. They must be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and feel comfortable working on multiple global projects and reporting to varying seniority levels simultaneously.

    What You'll Do

    As a Vantage Analyst in a Topic Activation role for the topic of Marine Ports and Shipping, within the Logistic, Parcel/Postal and Shipping (LPS) sector of BCG's Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) Practice Area; you will work in a growing global team, providing maritime expertise, ideally combined with functional know-how in shipping and ports (e.g.: in sustainability, digitalization, operations, marketing, sales and pricing, and/or other functions). You will deliver value to clients based on your individual knowledge and/or on BCG proprietary assets (e.g.: products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.).

    You will work on cases and proposals by contributing relevant analyses and insights and help case teams create strong impact for BCG clients. While collaborating on projects, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.

    You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analyses and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials.
